Arizona Blinds Company 1 Year Workmanship Warranty

 

Arizona Blinds Company warrants that all installation work will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner and will be free from defects for a period of 1 year from the date of completion.

Arizona Blinds Company Product Warranty

As the retailer and contractor, Arizona Blinds Company provides an overarching warranty on all products we carry, backed by a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and/or workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product. To obtain warranty service, claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase and details regarding the nature of the problem. Please contact us to initiate a claim. Repair or remake of defective products is the sole remedy under this warranty, and in no event shall Arizona Blinds Company or its product brands be liable for costs to remove and/or reinstall the product. Repairs will be made with like or similar parts. This warranty does not include shipping charges, costs of labor for measuring, installation, or trip charges.

Brand-Specific Warranty Coverage

Warranty coverage varies by brand and product type, focusing on defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. All claims require proof of purchase, and products must be installed per our guidelines. Repairs or replacements are provided at no cost during the applicable warranty period, excluding shipping or service fees after the first year. Warranties are non-transferable (except where noted) and apply only to the original purchaser. Contact us within 30 days of noticing a defect to initiate a claim.

    • Apollo Series Products:
      • Apollo Roller Series: 5-year warranty on fabric; lifetime warranty on operating mechanisms.
      • Apollo Zebra Series: 5-year warranty on fabric; lifetime warranty on operating mechanisms.
      • Apollo Cellular Series: 3-year warranty on all components.
      • Apollo Drapery Series: 3-year warranty on all components.
      • Apollo Shutter Series: 3-year warranty to be free from defects in materials and workmanship.
        • Apollo Polymer Shutters: Lifetime warranty on all components; this warranty is transferable to the next home buyer to preserve value.
      • Apollo Motors: 5-year warranty that it will function properly
    • EL CIELO Products:
      • EL CIELO Roller Series: All defects covered up to 1 year; mechanism lifetime warranty; 5 years on motors.
      • EL CIELO Uniglide: All defects covered up to 1 year; mechanism lifetime warranty; 5 years on motors.
      • EL CIELO Roman Shade: All defects covered up to 1 year; mechanism lifetime warranty; 5 years on motors.
    • Arizona Sun Supply Products
      • Manufacturing labor and workmanship covered for a period up to 1 year. 
      • Materials are covered by their respective manufacturers’ warranties. Installation, trip charges, and other fees incurred are not covered under this warranty.

  • Norman Products:
    • Woodlore® Shutters: Lifetime warranty on all components.
    • Monterey™ Shutters: Lifetime warranty on all components.
    • San Clemente Blinds: 3-year warranty on all components.
    • Honeycomb Shades: 3-year warranty on all components.
    • Soluna™ Roller Shades: 5-year warranty on fabric; lifetime warranty on operating mechanisms.
    • Centerpiece™ Roman Shades: 3-year warranty on all components.
    • PerfectSheer™ Shades: 3-year warranty on all components.
    • SmartDrape™: 3-year warranty on all components.
    • Faux Wood Blinds: Lifetime warranty on all components (except where specific exclusions apply).
    • Wood Blinds: Lifetime warranty on all components (except where specific exclusions apply).

Exclusions

These warranties do not cover any conditions caused by normal wear and tear, unauthorized repairs, accidents, alterations, misuse, abuse, exposure to the elements, excessive humidity, fading, failure to follow instructions for measurement, installation, cleaning, or maintenance. Discoloration or fading, chipping or cracking caused by exposure to the elements (sun, moisture, water) is normal on paints, stains. 

Commercial/contract orders are excluded from this warranty. This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other obligations, liabilities, or warranties. All other warranties, both expressed and implied, are explicitly disclaimed. In no event shall Arizona Blinds Company, its brands, distributors, or retailers be liable or responsible for incidental or consequential damages, or for any other direct or indirect damage, loss, cost, expense, or fee. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties, or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

Change Orders

Any alteration or deviation from the above specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon a written “Change Order” signed by both parties.

Unforeseen Conditions

If unforeseen structural or other issues are discovered during installation that were not apparent during the initial consultation, Contractor will stop work, inform the Owner, and provide a written Change Order detailing the necessary additional work and cost.

Owner’s Responsibilities

Owner agrees to:

  • Provide clear access to the work area.
  • Remove any personal items from the immediate work area.
  • Ensure that any pets are secured away from the work area.

Notice of Cancellation

You, the buyer, may cancel this transaction at any time prior to midnight of the third business day after the date of this transaction. See the attached notice of cancellation form for an explanation of this right.

Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC) Notice

ARIZONA LAW REQUIRES THAT A WRITTEN CONTRACT BE USED FOR ALL HOME IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS OVER $1,000. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO FILE A WRITTEN COMPLAINT WITH THE REGISTRAR OF CONTRACTORS FOR AN ALLEGED VIOLATION OF THE STATUTES GOVERNING CONTRACTORS.

Changes to Orders

Changes are allowed but may incur fees and restocking fees based on production status (e.g., materials ordered or cutting begun). Contact us to discuss options and costs.

Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds apply only to defective products covered by warranty (see warranty section). If a product is defective, contact us to initiate a claim. We’ll repair, replace, or refund at our discretion after inspection. Refunds are processed within 3-7 business days. For issues with this process, contact us. If unresolved, see section 10 for dispute resolution.
